If you wear makeup, apply it after CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion, once the product is fully absorbed. For sunscreen protection, always reapply at least every two hours.

Apply CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion liberally 15 minutes before heading outdoors. This is the approximate amount of time it takes for your skin to fully absorb the sunscreen ingredients and begin providing protection from the sun’s damaging rays.
